Just wanted to mention this particular one. Maybe after talking about and visiting Burger King, this was something going in my head.
I remember this day. We had to drop off some one at the airport. This was not Delhi or Kolkata. It was an unknown city (No, not Bangalore). We were there for the first time. And we had car to the disposal.
We (me and my parents) dropped this gentleman off and then Mom wanted to go to KFC.
Asked the driver if knew of a KFC. He said he did.
He brought us to a building that had a few restaurants. One of them was KFC.
I spotted the Barbecue Nation.
Told my parents to follow me.
Parents were not too sure what to expect.
The ambiance was good. Not too many people. We got a corner table.
Food kept coming and we kept eating. After that when my Mom said she was full, I said this is just the beginning - the starters. The main course and dessert start now.
So reluctantly all got off, to get some get food.
We left the place happy and satisfied.
Many times in the city we had visited the place. Durga Puja time was special - unlimited hilsa fish.
Now I think back and with numb eyes think of the days gone by.
Not sure if my mom would have liked Absolute Barbecue in Bangalore. That has Rabbit, Shark and Emu in the starters.
Probably will take Dad there one day.
