Something sweet at home - for Diwali

Had some grated coconut at home which had started turning bad. Had to either throw it, or consume it.
Tried something for the first time. Had seen Mom make it before, first time I tried it.

In a wok, added some oil. Of late with the discount I am getting, have switched over to Rice Bran oil.

When the oil was slightly hot, near smoking, added the coconut. When the coconut was nearly brown, added some sugar and let that fry.

When the mixture was light brown in color, added some milk, enough to just make it wet and kept stirring it. When the mixture was brown, added some raisins and turned off the heat.

Coconut itself will release oil, so not too much oil was needed. I had made this on Tuesday and it tasted better yesterday, once I had microwaved it for 3 - 4 minutes.

If I form balls, it becomes a naru, if I shape it into squares, it becomes a barfi. It is in the pan, by itself. What should I call this? This tastes like the coconut filling that is put in sweets, except that this is cooked a bit more.
